Festival Opening
auawirleben is celebrating its 40th edition this year! And actually, every edition is equally important, but we grab every opportunity we can to party. And what would be a better moment to party that at the Festival Opening on 4 May.
And we will not only open the festival and the Festival Centre on Waisenhausplatz, but also our series of thematical anniversary parties. We’re not just celebrating our 40th anniversary once, but in fact twelve times: every day for exactly 40 minutes, short and intense.
So, come an cheer to the festival with us! We look forward to celebrating with you!

The Festival Centre is accessible barrier-free. The toilet is located at the Metro Parking and is accessible by lift.
